Iraq America War Caused By False Pretences

The war between the United States of America and Iraq started in the year 2003. Although the war didn't last very long, a great loss of life and property was faced by both the sides. Much causality was faced. The main cause that is been reported that initiated this war is supposed to be the intelligence report that the United States of America had, regarding the possession of the nuclear weapons by Iraq.

The United State of America during the war was supported by United kingdoms and other allies, which the United States has against the poorly equipped Iraqi military. The opening attack started at 05:33 local time, about one and half hour after the deadline given for surrender on March 20, 2003. The invasion was swift, and led to collapse of Saddam's regime in about three weeks. At few places, US and allied forces had to face very stiff opposition from Iraqi forces.

However, the Americans were able to suppress the military led by the leader Saddam Hussein and were superseded by the Americans. After the America's invasion and win over the Saddam's force, the United Nations set up a coalition government in Iraq along with its various allies. The small temporary government was formed to control the law and order situation in Iraq.

Nevertheless, there were strong retaliations from the revolutionaries present in Iraq and the allies soon had to withdraw from the coalition government. The reign of Saddam had seen a number of human right violations and had caused a lot of suppression. Still the revolutionaries in Iraq were against the rule of US in Iraq and hence the revolution started.

According to the reports, the US officials in support of the invasion in Iraq and their war presented a number of supporting views but none have been verified. The primary reason for the US's invasion in Iraq was the threat they saw with the nuclear weapons that Iraq was supposed to carry. However, no such weapons of mass destruction were found to exist with Iraq. Another official review said that the US was retaliating against the injustice and the human right violation that the Saddam's reign had seen. There are many other such claims that the US officials asserted in support of their invasion. These reports have lead to the fact that a large number of causalities have been faced by the US as well as Iraq.

Although there are a number of claims that the US officials have put forward, the cause of the war is still not clear. Some claim that the war's motive was to retaliate against Saddam's links with one of the major terrorist group, Al Qaeda that is supposed to be lead by Osama Bin Laden. It is absolutely necessary to pint out that the 9/11 accident during which the World trade center was hit by a plane which carried the terrorists, was also an activity that was lead by the leader of the Al Qaeda group, Osama Bin Laden. Although numerous claims have been made, the actual reason for the war is still ambiguous.
